Selmin Arat Latz is a communications specialist with over 20 years of experience in public relations, event production, strategic partnerships, sponsorships, marketing activations, and social media. She has a diverse professional background spanning many sectors including lifestyle, luxury, hospitality + travel, beauty & wellness, fashion & accessories and consumer goods. A strategic and creative thinker, Selmin takes pride in her ability to guide and manage teams to build and execute thoughtful and customized communications plans and initiatives that hit specific KPIs. Selmin was most recently Managing Director at The Brand Guild and prior to that she headed up and oversaw the integration of lifestyle PR agency LFB Media Group into BMF and played an integral role in rebranding BMF into an international integrated creative marketing agency. Clients across the two agencies included Sunglass Hut, FX Networks, Maison No. 9 Rosé, Mastercard, Aer Lingus- Irish Airline, Moxy Hotels, Gerber Group and Tao Group.
Selmin was also VP of the Lifestyle division of Havas Formula PR working with consumer brands such as Bugaboo, Justin’s Nut Butters and Bushmills and before that she served as Managing Director at BrandLink Communications where she oversaw PR for a variety of clients including Relais & Châteaux hotel and restaurant association, W Hotels, Drybar, HSN, and Bluemercury. Selmin also spent five years with The Patton Group, a Miami based PR, marketing and events company, executing ROI-focused strategies for global luxury, fashion and accessories brands to elevate their standing in the press and drive sales in key local U.S. markets outside of New York. Prior to that, she was with Bulgari’s in house events and PR team for six years.
