About Me

I am currently Vice President and General Manager of Direct-to-Consumer at The Clorox Company, with separate P&L and studio head responsibilities.

Prior to Clorox I was the Chief Marketing Officer for the e-commerce startup Boxed, where I oversaw revenue growth, marketing, analytics, creative, loyalty & retention, communications, CX and trade revenue. In 2018, I was fortunate enough to be named to the inaugural Forbes CMO Next 2018 list -- identifying the 50 CMO's redefining the role and shaping the future.

Previously, I was Head of Digital for Chipotle responsible for leading all digital efforts including mobile, social media, content strategy, CRM & loyalty, analytics and e-commerce integration. Before that I was SVP, Digital at Taylor where I built and oversaw the digital marketing practice and supported a number of brands including Diageo, P&G, Jordan Brand, NASCAR and Starwood.

Before Taylor, at Citizen Paine I led social media integration and influencer marketing for Old Spice as well as Dentyne, working closely with each brand team and their collective agencies to create and implement through the line campaigns.

I started my career at Waggener Edstrom working with brands such as Microsoft and T-Mobile. There, I helped manage the launch of several high-profile products, including the first ever Android-based phone and all of the T-Mobile Sidekick products.

Personally, I serve on the Board of Directors for Goodwill International as well as Peace Direct. In the past I have been a board member for the University of Oregon Alumni Association and The Arts & Business Council of New York. I am also currently an advisor for three high-growth startups: Dynamic Signal, Wunderkind and Miles.

20 years of experience with specialties in: P&L management, change management, business transformation, cross-functional team building, people development, brand marketing, digital brand building, revenue growth, e-commerce, mobile, performance marketing, CSR, analytics & data science, CRM & loyalty, sports marketing, PR and public speaking.

FAQ

What is Operator?

Operator is a platform that enables anyone or any brand seeking advice, support or feedback to connect one-on-one with a curated group of global leaders, one video call at a time.

Who is Operator for?

Operator is for any individual or brand that is seeking domain expertise advice, business strategy guidance, mentorship or support from our curated group of leading marketers and communications specialists.

How is Operator different than the Publicist marketplace?

Operator was created to support individuals who are looking for advice, support or inspiration from Experts. Operators share guidance but they do not produce any tangible deliverables. While brands can hire talent from Publicist platform for strategic support, The Publicist marketplace is geared towards brands who are looking to hire talent to execute on specific projects or deliverables. The Publicist marketplace and Operator offerings are complementary. With Operator, individuals and brands will gain valuable insights and get specific guidance on anything from how to scale a business, to what it is like to run a marketing and communications team and so much more. Once they’ve received advice, they can go to the Publicist marketplace and search for talent to execute on new initiatives.
