At Publicist, we pride ourselves on having an engaged community of the best communications and marketing professionals in the industry. We constantly strive to find thought-leaders both in industries and by skill-sets and add talent daily to our growing network.
The Publicist application process:
#1 Create a Profile
In applying to join our talent community, you will need to register your profile by answering questions about your work experience, bio, references and upload past works.
#2 Profile Review
From here, our esteemed board of industry leaders will vet talent based on our judging criteria. We look at things like experience and professional history. We also vet our community based on the geographies in which we are live.
#3 Activate Your Account
Whether your account has been approved or waitlisted, you will receive an email notifying you of your status. Once approved, log in to your talent portal to receive full access to your account.
#4 Browse Clients & Projects
Start searching for projects through the Projects tab on your Dashboard. You can narrow your search by Location, Industry, Skills, Budget, or Company Size. When you find a project that you are interested in, you can view project details and submit a proposal.
#5 Completed - Start Pitching!
Your proposal pitch should include your resume, a cover letter and a description of why you should be hired for the project. Check out the How to Submit a Proposal Guide on The Spin for additional guidance. Leveraging the chat or video function on the platform, you can speak with brands to ask follow up questions and to agree on deliverables, project rate and the timeline for the engagement.
