SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, and it is incredibly important to make your web pages more visible to people who are using search engines such as Google to find out who you are. Here are some ways you can optimize those posts for SEO.

Know Your Target Audience

Identifying your target audience is crucial. Understanding who that is and what they want to see online will help your blog become more popular and will increase clicks. You want to be able to speak to people on a personal level and entice them to read what you are writing about. You can do this through having catchy titles or adding visuals that they will like.

Use Keywords

Now that you’ve identified your target audience you need to gain their attention through different keywords. Go over topics you want to cover in your blog and connect them through different words that will stand out to the reader. Here is a tutorial on keyword research.

Internal Link

Once you’ve created a surplus of content that talks about a variety of relevant topics you will be able to do something called internal linking. Basically, it means connecting the article you are writing to something you wrote about in the past and linking it in the newest post. That way you gain more clicks on that past article and people will begin to rely on you for any and all information within your area of expertise.

Mobile Devices

It is a fact that most people search the internet from their phones. So, your blog should be in tiptop shape for the occasion. Making your site more user friendly for mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads is crucial. Doing this will affect your SEO metrics. You can track how well you’re doing through Google Analytics.
